This shot required a lot of preparation - and was probably my most dangerous on. The highspeed camera had to survive the impact of a large scale avalanche and keep running for several hours afterwards. This requires specially designed CRASH BOXES. These heavy boxes were placed directly into the avalanche path - not an easy task.
Well, the avalanche nearly got me & the high-speed camera.
