Brand new & new in the service of ScienceMedia the IR-Highspeed - a digital High-Speed Camera System tailored to shoot ultra-slow motion in infrared. The camera is sensitive to IR light >720nm.
The camera records with a 12-bit CMOS sensor with 2000fps at a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels or with 2700 fps at 1280 x 720 pixels. Maximal speed: 200.000 fps.
With the IR-Highspeed and a IR-light source (>720 nm) it's now possible to shoot undisturbed high-speed sequences e.g. of the behaviours of night active animals like bats, owls or other night hunting predators in their natural environment.
